First Great Crested Newt Survey of 2012

Amphibian Survey

19 Mar 2012

The great crested newt survey season has well and truly begun with a survey of a pond in the village of Icomb in Gloucestershire. A Habitat Suitability Index of the pond has indicated that it is likely to be a ‘good’ breeding place for great crested newts and a series of detailed surveys have been programmed for April and May.
